Anyone can make a request and anyone can answer a request. If you stumble across us and want to make a request, feel free! If you see something you want to write, write it and then join us and post :) If you've written a request fic but absolutely don't want to join us (you should!), feel free to leave a link to the fic here for inclusion in the master list.

Below you'll find challenges, listed by week, with links to the initial challenge post and the summary for that challenges fics. Posts are also linked in the community memories, and also tagged for easy searching.

Challenge Guidelines
The challenges are a fun and easy way to get more rare girlslash out there :) A new challenge is posted every two weeks, on a Sunday, at which point the previous challenge closes. The challenges might be a prompt word or a first line; a group of words to include or a hypothetical situation. You only have to join in when you want to, and you can continue posting non-challenge fic at all times!
Every tenth challenge will be a 'remainder' challenge, where you'll be able to post for any of the previous challenges -- so if there's a fic you didn't get finished, or a challenge you really wanted to write for again, you can!

The point of writing the manifestos is to introduce people to your fandom, or your particular pairing of choice within a fandom. It might be a fandom they've never heard of, or a pairing they've never considered before, so you need to explain who the main characters are (or who your pairing characters are) and why you think they go so well together/have so much slashy potential.
You don't have to write pages and pages if you don't want to; you only have to write enough to convey the basics. You can include pictures/screencaps but, if you can't find any, don't worry about it. It's nice to have a visual as well, but it isn't a necessity.
Any links to notable fansites, their IMDb page, etc. are always welcomed too :)
There's no time limit on these (as long as you're not still working on them a year from now!) and you can claim as many as you think you can handle. If you're the only person in your particular fandom, or the only one who 'ships the characters in question, please pick that one at least!

General Guidelines
This community is for rare femslash/femslash written about characters in smaller fandoms. Hopefully it can become an archive to reference when you need a fic-fix for that pairing you just can't find anywhere else!
There are several posts you might like to take a quick read through before you join and/or start posting. This post you're reading now outlines the yay's and nay's of this community, and has the guidelines for posting fic. In addition to this post, you might be interested in this one about the twice-monthly challenges. Plus you can check out the post on fandom/pairing manifestos here (and make a claim, you know you want to... ;P), or take a peek at the request thread for inspiration :)
The masterlist of fandoms is located here, the request thread is located here and request/response fics are listed here. A masterlist of challenges, with challenge posts and summary-of-fics-posted posts included, can be found here.
Questions, problems and comments can be posted here (where all comments are screened) and if you have any suggestions or ideas, I'm always open to hearing them! I want this place to stay as fun and active as possible :)
