Challenge Guidelines

The challenges are a fun and easy way to get more rare girlslash out there :) A new challenge is posted every two weeks, on a Sunday, at which point the previous challenge closes. The challenges might be a prompt word or a first line; a group of words to include or a hypothetical situation. You only have to join in when you want to, and you can continue posting non-challenge fic at all times!

Every tenth challenge will be a 'remainder' challenge, where you'll be able to post for any of the previous challenges -- so if there's a fic you didn't get finished, or a challenge you really wanted to write for again, you can!

Your response to the challenge can be anything from 100 words upwards, though if you can aim to keep it between 100 words & 2,000 words, that'd be good. (Obviously, there's no limit on the length of non-challenge fics; this is purely challenge-related.)

It should go without saying that your fic should fit the communities purpose but, just in case: your fic should fit the communities purpose! Rare femslash pairings and/or small fandoms only (i.e. anything from the fandoms list).

Please tag your fic with the appropriate challenge tag (which I'll create when I post the challenge) and the appropriate fandom tag. If you think of a small fandom that isn't listed yet, let me know so I can list it for you. I will tag un-tagged posts when I memory the entries, but if you tag yours for me I'll adore you all the more ;)

All the entries will be added to the communities memories and, when I post the new challenge, I'll post a summary of all the fics posted in response to the old one.
